I was at an exhibition of Picasso's late works in Potsdam recently, and decided to post these sketches I did of a small Olive Tree on a terrace before I go back to my non-objective art.
Picasso in his time and Braque invented the technique of capturing an object in its multidimensionality on a single plane. Thus Cubism was born. It moved away from the traditional tenets of perspective!
Here I am trying out my new water colour pen brushes. They are quite handy when ones wants to do a quick sketch.
