Today I have to remind myself of a biblical verse that has accompanied me since my childhood: "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear none evil. For thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me". This week I lost someone who walked with me through the first years of getting to know myself. She fought a brave fight and yet, had to go.
Though sad at this loss, I know that all of us are beings of light; that the shadows will disappear once we realise that. Rest in peace Babe, let your Light shine. For you the shadows are gone now.
