Welcome to my first post of this year. I would like to wish each one of you a Blessed and Successful New Year.
I started today's sketch as we were waiting for our flight to Chennai at the Tegel Airport in Berlin. We were sitting at a cosy coffee place at a very busy terminal... it was Christmas vacation you see. Despite the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season this modern well designed coffee place exuded this immense sense of calm and cosiness. I realised it was not just the welcoming decor, but also the friendly staff. A sign said: "Feel at home".
Taking off on this point, I wish for each one of us that we design 2017 to be a place in time, where each one of us feels at home.
