The artist uses this human nature to make an imprint in the viewers mind.
I am captivated by the simplicity of how our minds can be manipulated and how manipulative our minds are. I am still seeking answers to what is beyond.
Much light!
Today I would like to present to you a bit of the process involved in my work: Here I am investigating lines; repetitive lines and how they develop into a narrative (if lines can be that). Starting from simple parallel lines sketched on paper, I went on to do a simple linoleum cut to investigate how a modular conglomerate of repetitive lines can form a narrative. Starting from the print I present here, I went on to make a series of work that seek that connecting causality that most of us are used to. The artist uses this human nature to make an imprint in the viewers mind. I am captivated by the simplicity of how our minds can be manipulated and how manipulative our minds are. I am still seeking answers to what is beyond. Much light!
