Deviating from my usual practice of presenting my sketches in my blog, I present to you one of my paintings from this week.
This is the result of a scaling up of my water colour works (20 x 20 cm) to a larger sized painting (120 x 120 cm). I am quite liking this rigid, constructive way of working with my sketch ideas and am quite happy with the way this effort is progressing. The "organic" structures at the bottom could be differently integrated; I do not quite like the syntax of this language. Looking to becoming more minimalistic either in the colour used or in the way I place my colour fields. Will keep you updated on my progress.
